Heavy armor I would feel like an immovable impenetrable object. Light armor would make me feel like a kick ass gladiator though. Both trees give a weightless talent so you can move full speed in both armors. Which throws out the speed argument. Both trees get quite a bunch of +armor. As both can easily hit the reduction cap with minimal work and enchants are shared, light armor beats heavy mechanically (less weight and less Stamina used to run)...but it's ultimately up to aesthetics (and light armor tends to look better, with a few exceptions).
