The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region has been serving the community for 141 years, and the Downtown YMCA has served as the heart of downtown Colorado for a significant number of those years. Over the past four years the Y has been meeting, strategizing and envisioning what a new downtown YMCA could mean for the community. In an effort to help strengthen community, the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region partners with La Plata Communities to manage its recreation center for residents of the Cordera Community.
